The Visionary Behind the Willow

For years, I dreamed of a dedicated space to create and connect a true community living room where the age gap disappears, neighbors adults can pull up a chair together, get their hands messy, and just enjoy the process of making. Transforming this local storefront into a sanctuary designed for real connection brought that vision to life.

As a designer, I know that our environment profoundly changes how we feel. Every texture, botanical accent was hand-selected to make you feel instantly at ease. But my vision for The Joyful Willow goes far beyond the decor. I am constantly dreaming up new ways to elevate our creative experience here in Dexter whether through our Summer Camps, expert-led classes, or our Makers' Menu for independent projects.

My mission is simple, to provide a beautiful, unhurried space for neighbors to gather. To me, this is so much more than a studio, it’s a place to belong.
