The Visionary Behind the Willow

Jenn is the creative force behind The Joyful Willow. After years of dreaming of a dedicated space to create and connect Jenn transformed this local storefront into a light-filled sanctuary designed for real connection.

As a designer, Jenn knows that our environment changes how we feel. Every texture, botanical accent, and sunny nook was hand-selected to make you feel instantly at ease. But her vision goes far beyond the decor. She wanted to build a "community living room" where the age gap disappears—a place where kids and adults can pull up a chair together, get their hands messy, and just enjoy the process of making.

Jenn is constantly dreaming up new ways to elevate the creative experience in Dexter. From our Summer Camps and expert-led classes to the Makers' Menu for independent projects, there is always something new to discover.

For Jenn, the mission is simple, to provide a beautiful, unhurried space for neighbors to gather. It’s more than a studio—it’s a place to belong.
